Nora

piink-mochi was having a MYO Bitter Bat event!  I've admired this species 5evr it's like my favorite thing; bats with no wings!  So cute and fluffy!

This is Nora.  She's a bitter that lives with a family.  It's a small family in Alaska, a couple and their small boy.  Mom owns a Christmas novelty shop, dad is a mail plane pilot.

When they got Nora, little boy Timmy was very excited.  She was his Christmas present one year!  He saw the star on her forehead, and tried to say "North Star" but it ended up coming out "Nor-a!"  He was maybe three years old when they adopted her.  Now he's six, and he and Nora help around the Christmas shop by moving and arranging things.  Nora has her own little mini sled that she pulls to transport stuff.

Sometimes, when Timmy's mom needs something delivered to someone else in the town, he and Nora take it to them on their little delivery sled.  Timmy gets to help his mom while feeling like his daddy.

Meanwhile, this whole time, Nora just thinks she's a reindeer.

She loves gingerbread, cinnamon, rolling around in the snow, Christmas lights, and curling up by the fireplace.  Sometimes she also bats around the wayward ornament, like a dorky little kitten.
